[r/ClaudeAI] Opus 4.8's tendency to be contrarian for the sake of being contrarian is a serious regression in my mind. Maybe this improves agentic coding performance, but it's not worth it to sacrifice the ability to parse human subtext. That's how you get the paperclip optimizer.
