Trend Radar (the "Service") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains how the Service handles data.
1. Personal Data Collection
Trend Radar does not collect direct identifiers such as sign-up data, login credentials, or email addresses.
2. Analytics (Google Analytics)
When NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_ID is set, the Service uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics. Tracked events include page views, topic selection (select_topic), item reads (read_item), source link clicks (outbound_source_click), locale switches (locale_switch), and shares (share_click). If GA is not configured, no analytics script is loaded. GA data processing follows Google’s policies.
3. Content Data We Collect
Trend Radar collects metadata (title, summary, link) of publicly available content from RSS feeds, Reddit, Hacker News, GitHub, and similar sources. Original content is not stored.
4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell or share collected data with third parties (except GA’s anonymous aggregate statistics).
5. Changes
This policy may be updated as the Service evolves.
